(Sung to “Sundays Will Never Be the Same” by Spanky and Our Gang)
M. James 7/08
I remember Sunday evenings
I would watch a rag-tag fleet
They’d battle robot Cylons while the planet Earth they’d seek.
Now I watch on Friday evenings
But a different fleet I see
Instead of eye beams glowing
Cylons look like you and me
Cylons will never be the same
They’re showing sides of us, and all the rules have changed
Cylons and humans have even traveled side by side
They’ve found an Earth that’s made of ashes
But these Cylons cannot die
Seven models known
Four were in secret now they see
Who is the last to be revealed
Oh no, I think it might be Lee ee-ee-ee
Cylons will never be the same
They’re showing sides of us, and all the rules have changed
I remember Baltar
In a chair way up high
I remember Starbuck, he was a guy!
(Ba-ba-ba,etc.)
Cylons will never be the same
Boomer and Zack are gone, they’ll not be back again.
Cylons will never be the same
Cylons will never be the same
Cylons will never be the same
